On December 16th, President Shelly Carlson addressed the Woodland Community Consolidated School District #50 Board of Education during their monthly meeting. In her remarks, she delivered a year-end recap highlighting increasingly low staff retention, troubling recruitment numbers, and a continued decline in staff morale—issues that are a direct result of chronically low pay.
